Architecture Tour

Every Sunday, 4:30 p.m.

Learn more about the architecture of Crystal Bridges. This hour-long Architecture Tour will introduce you to the unique architectural features of Moshe Safdie’s design, and provide insights into some of the special challenges the Museum’s site posed to engineers. Meet in the lower lobby.  Note:  This is an indoor/outdoor tour, weather permitting.  An alternate indoor route is offered in case of inclement weather.

No tickets necessary. Each tour accommodates a maximum of 15 participants. Tour begins in the lower lobby. Please arrive five minutes in advance.

Collections Highlights

Monday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Enjoy a grand stroll through the permanent collection. This tour visits some of the best-known names in American art.

Family Tours (Offered May 27 through August 3)

Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, 1 p.m.

Join this drop-in family tour and get to know some of the favorite artworks in Crystal Bridges’ galleries. Our experienced Gallery Guides will lead you on a fun, interactive experience suitable for all ages!

No tickets necessary. Each tour accommodates a maximum of 15 participants. Tour begins in the lower lobby. Please arrive 15 minutes in advance.

Inspiring Women

Wednesday and Friday, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Take a look at the history of women in the art world, both as artists and subjects. The tour focuses on works you may not know much about, plus some well-known favorites.

No tickets necessary. Each tour accommodates a maximum of 15 participants. Tour begins in the lower lobby. Please arrive five minutes in advance.

Twilight Tour

Wednesdays, 7:30 to 8:30 pm

Meet in the main lobby for a tour of works in Crystal Bridges collection featuring a twilight or evening theme. The tour will highlight works in the Colonial and Nineteenth-Century Art Galleries, and will last about one hour. Free, no registration required.

Experience Art Studio

Experience Art Studio is a fun discovery space for both children and adults designed to guide guests through various ways of looking at and thinking about works of art. There is also a creative play space, art-making supplies, toys, and games for the whole family to enjoy together.

Experience Art Studio is located on the lower level of the Late Nineteenth-Century Art Gallery, and is accessible from the lower Temporary Exhibition gallery or from Walker Landing.

Drop-In Drawing

Drop in for a free, informal drawing session. Materials are provided and a Museum educator will be on hand to get you started. Check at Guest Services for the specific location. All ages are welcome!

Drop-in Studio

Drop-In Studio is a monthly program in the Durand and Estes studios (located next door to Experience Art Studio). The program provides opportunities for guests of all ages to enjoy artist-led art-making activities during their visit to the Museum. Materials and instructions for several projects are provided at no cost.
