Crystal Bridges Announces Recent Hires

BENTONVILLE, Ark., December 17, 2009 – Four new staff members have joined Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, currently under construction near downtown Bentonville.
Jennifer Dunham brings more than 15years of experience in non-profit and educational organizations to her new position as head of volunteer programs. Most recently she was the disability and community specialist at Northwest Arkansas Head Start, where her duties included coordinating volunteers. Earlier in her career she worked as a membership representative for a state employees association, assistant director for a child development center, social worker, resource coordinator and teacher. Dunham earned a bachelor of science in early childhood education from Oklahoma State University and is certified as a volunteer manager by the State of Arkansas.
Shane Richey is the new web content/social media coordinator. Most recently the web developer for the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Arkansas, Richey also has worked as a graphic designer and taught art at Cedar Valley College, a community college in Dallas Co., Texas. He was director of visual design for Art Amiss, a local artists’ collective, from 2006-2008. Richey holds a bachelor of arts in fine arts with a focus in digital media/graphic design and a minor in political science from the University of North Texas in Denton and a master of fine arts from the University of Arkansas, where he focused on visual design in digital media with a minor in printmaking.
Amber Hendrickson is the administrative assistant for the museum relations department, and Sarah Terry is the new part-time office assistant. In October Aaron Jones was promoted within the museum’s learning experiences department from public tour program coordinator tocurriculum coordinator.
