Discover Art Programs @ Crystal Bridges

Our Discover Art programs are designed to provide families an engaging way to explore themes and artists’ techniques drawn from our Massey exhibitions, while providing hands-on activities that are fun for adults and children. These are drop-in programs not requiring registration, making it easy for families to attend and enjoy the activities.
The projects are always inspired by the works of art in the gallery, and families are encouraged to view the exhibition as part of their Discover Art experience. “It’s always exciting to provide opportunities for children and adults to create with materials they may not have tried in the past – felting, screenprinting, collage and sculpting are recent projects that have had participants young and old smiling at their own creativity!” explains Janelle Redlaczyk, Crystal Bridges’ Youth & Families Coordinator.
“We enjoy the opportunity to meet and serve families in our community through the Discover Art program while the museum’s construction is underway,” Redlaczyk says.
